I know You might be thinking That “merchandising your closet” is a weird sentence” But it makes sense. A nicely merchandised store is appealing to your eye! It's not overwhelming, and it makes it nice to look through things. If your closet is merchandised like a boutique of you! It will be a great place to peruse through. Here are some tips to try!
- FIRST-Go through your entire closet. You can even take everything out so,you'll have a clean slate to start with.
 - SECOND-Separate your clothing into sections.

-out of season
- Dress clothes(pants ,shirts, jackets, sweaters )dresses,skirts
-camisoles
-clothes that you haven't worn in over 1 year.
-casual clothes-sweaters, long sleeve T's, short sleeve t's.
- THIRD -Do the same thing with you shoes, bags, scarfs (if they're in your closet)
 - FOURTH-Now that you have that done Put your camisoles in a place where they're all together (If you want to get really organized separate them by color keeping each color family together from lightest to darkest. Pick an area thats easy to get to for your casual shirts and pants. Put t shirts together. Long sleeve T's, sweaters etc. Do the same thing for for your dress clothes and your dresses.
 - FIFTH-Think about the items that you never wear pile! How much does that stuff mean to you? If you don't wear it and haven't in over a year. Get rid of it! It just takes up unnecessary space.
Put the items that are out of season in storage or keep them in the back of your closet. Your not going to need them for awhile so they don't need to be right up front!
you can do this little by little or make it a day project! Either way life will seem so much easier and playing dress up will be fun again.
